The Austin International School is open to preschool (beginning at 3 years old) through elementary school students. Children must be fully potty trained prior to acceptance. Students in first grade (CP) and above must have previous French language experience in order to be accepted due to the percentage of French instruction. Grade level placement is determined by the age of the student as of December 31 (with the Executive Director having the discretion to make final decisions regarding questions of maturity).

We encourage interested parents to set an appointment to speak with the Executive Director in order to discuss the school's curriculum and to tour the school. A personal interview with parents and child(ren) by the Executive Director is a mandatory part of the admission process. Priority admission will be given to families with children currently enrolled until the last week of February. This priority also extends to any siblings of current students. After that date, the school will begin to enroll students on our waiting list. Children whose parents have submitted an application, the application fee (non-refundable), and the 10% deposit tuition will automatically be placed on this list in the order the materials were received. This 10% deposit is non-refundable if a space is made available for the student, and in the case that a space is not available, this fee is fully refundable.
